The daily snap of highlights from my twitter feed. A big Melbourne launch day for GreenEDGE. Here's how some of the tweeps covered it...
Sophie Smith
I planned to wear a new green shirt to work today. Yet green at a GreenEDGE presser - no journo would let me live that down #wardrobechange
~
McEwen says his team clocked up to 1000km training in the ACT. In other news, Molly Meldrum is set to lend his expertise for a team song.
~
And all the boys were in black T-Shirts so I totally could have worn green. Even @reedrw had a splash of the Ninja Turtle colour happening.
~
GreenEDGE sports directors are set to be announced in the coming week. Neil Stephens and Matt White were at today's Melbourne presentation.
ron reed

- Can just see a pro bike team in a post race sing-a-long huddle (afl style).

Sometime ago I viewed a trailer for Life In A Day, a feature film created by executive producer Ridley Scott and director Kevin Macdonald.
Life In A Day is a historic film capturing for future generations what it was like to be alive on the 24th of July, 2010 ~ a candid snapshot of a single day on planet Earth. Compiled from over 80,000 YouTube submissions by contributors in 192 countries, Life in a Day presents a microcosmic view of our daily experiences as a global society. From the mundane to the profound, everything has its place as we spend 90 minutes gaining greater insight into the lives of people who may be more like us than we ever suspected, despite the fact that we're separated by incredible distances.
The full feature is now on Youtube...
The completed film debuted at theSundance Film Festival on January 27, 2011 and the premiere was streamed live on YouTube. On October 31, 2011, YouTube announced that Life in a Day would be available for viewing on its website free of charge, and on DVD.

I also asked them to give me something that didn’t include going out and buying new gear. - David duChemin
